The Drama Llama is Back

Well, I suppose I could elaborate a little bit on my last entry.

For a few weeks now I've been talking to Scott again. Save the bitching at me, because I don't want to hear it. I've gotten it enough from people around here already. I was supposed to go to Orlando on Saturday to do a little bit of Christmas shopping at Downtown Disney, and he was going to meet me down there. Like no big suprise, he called the day before to cancel. The problem was that I was in the car with my sister when it happened. I responded with most of his comments about not being able to go with "Uh huh" "Sure" and "Okay..." He told me to call him later and I said I would, even though I had no intention of calling him again. I wanted to give him a taste of what I went through on and off for almost five years. As I was about to hang up, my sister yelled "Bye Asshole" which, of course, he heard. He then proceeded to call back, which I ignored, and then went inside the store that me and my sister were at. I got back out to the car and checked my cell phone - 8 missed calls, 3 voicemails, and 2 text message. Give me a break. Take a hint.

The first voicemail was basically "I'm pretty sure I heard Bye Asshole when I was hanging up, and now you're not answering your phone so..."

The second voicemail was "You know what, fuck it. I'm not gonna deal with this anymore. Don't call me, don't email me whatever." blah blah blah. Done.

The third voicemail actually ended up just being an old message that I hadn't listened to yet.

Then I got to the text messages. The first one was just "You know what...fuck it." and then the second one was exactly what I posted before. "I'm so glad I never slept with you because then I would've felt dirty."

Well, that's it. That's probably the final straw that needed to be pulled. That's the one thing that's never happened in the almost 5 years we were together on and off...he's never insulted me. Yes, I'm hurt by the whole thing...and I know I live by no regrets, but I definately regret wasting almost a quarter of my life wrapped up on this douchebag. But hey, you live and you learn.

So, I got a nice little suprise yesterday when I got off of work. I went downstairs and my Mom told me that she had found something that belonged to me. It was two savings bonds that my Grami got for me before she died. They were supposed to be given to me when I graduated high school (God, has it already been 3 & 1/2 years? Oi...where has time gone?) but my Mom had lost them. So me and Vicki trekked to the bank, and I left with $230 more than I had 30 minutes earlier. We went by Target, but I didn't see anything that I wanted so, we left.

I went to bed at like 7:15 last night...hence why I'm up now at 3:21. I think I'm gonna take a shower and then hit Wal-Mart. I'll miss the crowd and be able to browse at my own pace since I don't have to be on the phones for work for another 4 1/2 hours.

Speaking of work, I overloaded myself these first two weeks being home. I went from working 35-40 hours a week, to doing 50+...and in my job, where you deal with constant bullshit day after day, I got real burnt out, real quick. Suffice it to say that that sucks. So I only worked 1 day of OT this week for two hours, and that was all. Ah well, ya live and you learn. I'll pick back up on my OT next week.

Me and Vicki also have a new judging system for guys. They're hot pockets. If he's *really* hot, he's a breakfast hot pocket...if he's cute, he's a regular hot pocket, and if he's underage or not so cute, he's a lean pocket :-x. Why yes, we are total dorks, thanks for asking.

Speaking of being total dorks...my sister bought me Season 2 of Lost, since she has money and, until Yesterday, I was broke. I started watching Season 1 on Tuesday. What's today? Thursday? Yeah...all I have left to watch is Exodus Part 1 & 2...how much of a dork am I? Yeah...almost an entire season of a show in 2 days. *shakes head*...Today I'll finish Season 1 and start with Season 2...THEN...I can get with the special features...YAY!

Whenever someone is making a list of '101 Ways I DO NOT Want to Die' you will not usually see 'Death by Stingray' on there. Yet one of the craziest men of our generation was killed by a stingray. A stingray with the aim of a sniper.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm sure that you've all heard about Steve Irwin dying, and I'm not trying to be crude or insensetive at this time of mourning for some. I'll be honest with you...I was never a really big fan of Steve Irwin in the first place. I don't like snakes or alligators (or crocidiles for that matter...) so I never watched his show. I refused to see the movie because I thought Hollywood shot a bombshell with that one...and I really found nothing interesting or facinating about Steve Irwin himself.

HOWEVER...when he was drifting off to sleepy land late at night counting the snakes and crocs jumping over the fence, I can just about guarnatee you, that he never went to sleep thinking 'Gosh! I sure I hope that I don't get killed by a stingray tomorrow.' and I bet he never had nightmares about a 300ft stingray attacking him while he was swimming. It's just ironic to me. This man that dealt with deadly and vicious animals for the majority of his life was killed by something that people pet every day at Sea World.

That stingray though...it must've had the aim of a sniper. It shot the poisionous barb in his chest AND put a hole in his heart. That's just crazy...absolutely crazy to me.

I've already seen the jokes surfacing on the internet. AND it is absolutely insane how quickly word spread about this incident. I read it on someone's livejournal and looked up the article, showed it to my Dad. My Mom thought that this was one of the worst celebrity deaths this year. (Whatever Ma...) I had 3 people from work ask me if I heard about it, plus Vicki asked me. My sister in law signed into Yahoo just to ask me if I had heard...it's crazy.

The sad thing is since everything was being filmed...I give 2-3 days TOPS before the video of him getting killed by the stingray surfaces on the internet. *shakes head* The internet today...

Phase One of my birthday went well. After I got off work yesterday I met Becky and Vicki here at the house. We sat around and talked to my parents for a while and then we left and went to head out. First we went out to Cato to see if we could all find something to wear for tonight (It's only like my 4th shirt I've bought for this evening :-P) and then we went to Chili's for dinner. After that we went to my sister's for a while to hang out, and then we played DDR for a bit. We have pictures. It was great. At 11:55 we headed towards the Mandrin Ale House so that I could get my first legal drink. We get there, and I ended up having 2 Parrot Bay & Pineapples and a Buttery Nipple...OMG...Buttery Nipples are the greatest thing in the entire work. Since I rarely drink, I have a very very low tolerence. I was wasted. It was great. After we left there we went to Wal-Mart...I had my very first drunken Wal-Mart experience! It was great. Hurray for impulse buys! :) Anyways...I'll updated after the events unfold tonight. ♥

Well, I suppose it's a good father's day since my Dad is asleep on the couch with the movie that I bought (that he picked out). Me and My Mom are working on her world famous 18 lb Lasanga. That's right...this is the Lasanga that not even GARFIELD could finish. It pwns. I've been making icons today. I'm actually really proud of them. A bunch of them are Harry Potter, and then the rest are text only lyric icons. I am really REALLY proud of them. Anyways, short update, nothing exciting. Ciao :)

I don't know whether or not anyone has seen this or not, but if you have, I need your help.

My aunt, my Mom's sister, is one of the people that has been affected by this. It is far worse than what they are leading you to believe. First she developed pink eye, which turned into an eye infection, which has now turned into unclers in her eye. There is a possibility that she may lose her vision completely because of this. So please, if you can spare a moment of your time, keep my Aunt in your thoughts. This is really rough for my Mom and it breaks her heart because her Dad, my Papa, is a retired Eye SURGEON, and there is nothing that he can do for her. I appreciate your time...

I'm fickle. I know. I absolutely ♥ y'all that move around with me :)

I've spent all day getting it ready (Well, at least the time since I've been at work :-P) Only thing I have left to do is do the credit/resources/fun stuff post. Anyways...

IF YOU ONLY HAVE ME FRIENDED FOR MY ICONS...

- I have added all of my icon entries since August of 2005 in seperate entries. They are now sorted by tags, and will soon be sorted by memories.

I will no longer be posting icons here. I plan on getting to the point that I'm posting icons up to 5 times a week, and I don't want to clog the friends pages of people that don't care about my icons :-P (Plus it's easier than trying to sort through all of my un-friended entries to find the icons :-P) Thanks for understanding :)

- Put your player on shuffle.
- List lyrics from the first 35 songs that show up.
* DO NOT use the song title in the lyric provided.
